Pleco Invasive Removal is a conservation-focused organization working toward nonprofit status. Unless explicitly stated, payments and donations may not be tax-deductible.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the site

3. Event Participation

Participation in Pleco Invasive Removal activities (including kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, freediving, and the use of gigs or Hawaiian slings) involves inherent risks.

By registering for or attending any event, you acknowledge that you:

  • Participate voluntarily

  • Assume all risks associated with the activity

  • Agree to follow all Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) regulations

  • Agree to possess a valid freshwater fishing license when required

  • Agree to follow all posted safety rules

 

Pleco Invasive Removal reserves the right to refuse or remove any participant for safety or compliance reasons.

Important: Participants may be required to sign an additional liability waiver at events.

4. Payments and No Refund Policy​

All payments, registrations, merchandise purchases, sponsorships, and donations are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

If an event is canceled by Pleco Invasive Removal, we may offer:

  • Transfer to a future event

  • Event credit

  • Rescheduling

Refunds are not guaranteed.

5. Merchandise

We strive for accuracy in product descriptions and images. However, Pleco Invasive Removal does not guarantee that product colors or details will appear exactly the same on all devices.

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Approved issues may be eligible for replacement at our discretion.

6. Donations

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Funds are used to support conservation operations, equipment, fuel, outreach, and related mission expenses.

Water-based activities and invasive species removal involve known and unknown risks. By participating in our events or activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

8. Media Release

By participating in Pleco Invasive Removal events, you grant permission for photos and videos taken during activities to be used for educational, promotional, and social media purposes unless you notify us in writing in advance.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, text, graphics, photos, and videos — is the property of Pleco Invasive Removal and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pleco Invasive Removal, its owners, volunteers, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
